Hubbn ("Hubbn", "we", "our", or "us") is a swipe app for professional networking. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our mobile apps and website (together, the "Service").

• Account & profile: your name, age, email address, role or headline, and the photos you upload.
• Interests & intent: the topics you follow and what you're looking for (e.g. collaborate, hire, find a co-founder).
• Verification: if you verify your profile, the information needed to confirm it's really you.
• Messages: the notes and chat messages you send to other members through the Service.

2. Information We Collect Automatically

• Location: approximate location so we can show you people working near you. You control this through your device permissions.
• Usage data: swipes, matches, and how you interact with the app, used to improve discovery and overlap matching.
• Device & log data: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and diagnostic or crash data.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Operate the Service and show you relevant people to connect with.
• Calculate the interest and intent "overlap" that powers matching.
• Enable messaging and connection requests between members.
• Keep the community safe, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms.
• Send service-related communications and respond to support requests.
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as needed to run the Service:

• Other members: your profile, photos, shared interests, and intent are visible to people you may match with. Your exact location is never shown — only general proximity.
• Service providers: infrastructure and hosting (Cloudflare), analytics, and crash reporting that process data on our behalf.
• App stores: Apple and Google, when you download the app or make purchases.
• Legal reasons: when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our members.

5. Your Choices & Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
• Export a copy of your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw location or notification permissions at any time in your device settings.
• Delete your account, which removes your profile from discovery.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Hubbn is intended for professionals 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where it is, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by applicable law.
